For Schools Only - Fall 2007 through Spring 2008

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts presents more than two dozen school shows each year, making it possible for thousands of students to experience the excitement and enrichment of live theater - often for the very first time! To deepen the educational experience, we also offer the Artists in the Schools program. This program, connected to specific school shows, helps students to comprehend and retain information more effectively by using music, theater, dance and visual art to underscore lessons in other core subjects, such as math, science and social studies. Wells Fargo Center for the Arts reaches out to schools by providing three classroom visits as well as special curriculum materials for teachers through the Artists in the Schools program. Curriculum materials, projects, and corresponding classroom visits always align with state teaching standards.
