Music For Schools

encourage, support and expand
music education opportunities
for youth"
The
Wells Fargo Center for the Arts' Music For Schools program
places musical instruments into the hands of students who otherwise
couldn't afford to purchase or rent them. Designed to encourage,
support and expand music education opportunities for youth,
the program maintains the North Bay 's only instrument lending
library and provides music resource materials to hundreds of
students and teachers annually. Community donations make up
the vast majority of the instruments in the Music For Schools
library, ranging from trumpets and flutes, clarinets and guitars,
percussion instruments, a marching sousaphone, and three baby
grand pianos!
