After 17 years, feature film star and “Saturday Night Live” alum Rob Schneider returns to the stage with a stand-up comedy tour that’s taking him around the globe. In Santa Rosa for one night only, Schneider says there’s a lot of great material out there right now with the economy and the political scene, so the timing is perfect. Schneider began his career as a stand-up comedian before being hired as a “Saturday Night Live” regular in 1990. Working with Adam Sandler, he became an Emmy nominated actor, with fi lms such as “Bedtime Stories,” “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan,” “50 First Dates,” “The Longest Yard,” “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” and “Grown Ups” (out summer 2010).
