Blondie

with special guest Gorevette

One of America's greatest bands, Blondie is back and better than ever! Thirty years after their acclaimed Parallel Lines LP, Deborah Harry and the boys hit the road and land in Santa Rosa for a concert featuring their new wave mega hits (think."the man from Mars stopped eatin' cars and eatin' bars, And now he only eats guitars"), as well as new music from their recent CDs, No Exit and The Curse of Blondie.

In the late '70s, Blondie emerged as the great pop icons of New York's celebrated new wave punk scene by defying easy categorization. Theirs were the hippest clothes and coolest hair. They wrote great rock hooks and brilliant, ironic lyrics-creating a slew of hits including "Heart of Glass," "The Tide Is High," and most recently "Maria" from the band's No Exit CD. They were inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
